How to Store White Tea?
Almost no one in the
white tea industry will stand up and oppose the opinion that white tea should be sealed. In the national standard of white tea, it is clearly written that the dryness requirement of white tea is that the water content is not higher than 8.5%. Of course, there is no lower limit. It depends on the tea maker's mind and skills to do more. Based on the requirements of national standards for water content, it is extremely normal and correct to seal and waterproof white tea when it is stored. You know, there is plenty of moisture in the air, especially in the terrible rainy season in the south. At this time, it seems that water can be squeezed out of the air.
If the
white tea is not sealed or not sealed in multiple layers to create multiple barriers which can block the entry of water when it is stored, a large army of water molecules will drive straight in, just like entering no one's land, going straight into the base camp and invading the white tea. Every day, the water content of white tea increase by degrees and erode the tea, with its contents gradually damaged, then the transformation stopping, and the quality becoming worse. Finally, this box of well-made white tea was destroyed.
Therefore, sealing is the primary factor, sufficiency and necessary condition for white tea storage. First, we can seal the white tea with Yeasincere
vacuum sealing bags; second, we double seal it with aluminum bag; third, we put it into cartons which can protect the white tea firmly, and make it transform scientifically in the dark box—turning bad substances away and turning good substances out more.
