For a long time, French cuisine seems a little far away from Chinese families. However, after getting to know it, I found that there are still some simple dishes that can be prepared for family gatherings. For example, this fried shrimp is very simple, and it only takes 15 minutes. Today, I am going to show you three different French dishes, namely, fried shrimps, fried squid and silver pout.
Fried shrimps
After the butter is melted in the frying pan, put the shrimps to fry. You can choose Chinese shrimps or Argentine shrimps. The point is that the shrimp should be big. After frying both sides of shrimps, pour some cognac brandy. Please note that the temperature in the pan must be high at this time. After cooking the shrimp for some time, add the minced garlic and celery and stir. Is it extremely simple? This dish can be a very good appetizer.
Fried Squid
This dish is an authentic Italian dish, which is included in the book named Magic Kitchen, which was written by a French chef. This recipe is super easy too. It is even easier if you have an air fryer.
Preparation: clean squid rings, flour, salt, black pepper, thousand island dressing, salad dressing, etc.
Steps: put flour in a vacuum container and then put the squid rings. Shake the container to make each squid ring coat with flour. Gently shake the squid rings in a colander to shake off excess flour to ensure a crispy texture.
Heat the oil in a pan, and put the squid rings in it until the oil temperature is very high. Fry the squid rings for two minutes. In the book, the dishes are heated in the oven in order to ensure the temperature. However, it's your choice. Add some black pepper and salt at the end, or you can eat the squid rings with your favorite sauce.
Silver pout
The main course in French cuisine is usually fish or steak. There are many recipes for steaks, but today I am going to talk about how to make fish.
This dish was taught by a chef. This dish has a beautiful appearance. I just offer a present to a guest with other people's things.
Preparation: silver pout pieces, green sweet peppers and chilies
Steps: Chop green sweet peppers and chilies and mix them. When the frying pan is hot, add the olive oil; add some salt to the oil after the oil is hot. Put the silver pout piece, and don't touch it. The fish will stick to the pan when it is put into the pan, but it will be fine after a while. Don't shake it or turn it over. What you have to do is to turn the heat down a bit. After frying one side of the silver pout piece until it doesn't stick to the pan, you can turn it over and continue frying. Fry the other side until it doesn't stick. Add some sea salt and black pepper to the fish. Put the minced green sweet peppers and chilies beside the silver pout piece on the plate. Eat the silver pout piece with the minced green sweet peppers and chilies. You can also use peppers with other colors.
